What do you call expensive? I just bought 87 octane for $2.05 yesturday. I can remember flying a crosscountry with my friend in his RV-6 thinking $2.30 was high for 100LL avgas. Now it seems like a bargin.

What are you coming to VA for Ron? Anyway, if you do drop me an email and we'll do everything we can to get together and do some flying.

My intentions are to be there in June. Unless gas gets expensive. My old motorhome gets 6 MPG and I am 1200 miles away.

Well I remember we talked once before. Glenmore brought it back to my memory. I have some friends who live there, Raglands by name. It would only take you about 25 minutes to get to our field. It's on rt 24, 2-3 miles west of Mt. Rush, where 24 and 60 merge. Where exactly do you live?

Grinnell, Iowa. We have relatives we visit in Glenmore. I found Mt.Rush on my map. I have been through there.

I finally did the maiden on mine today. I got 5 flights of 12 minutes each and the plane flew great. I only needed a couple of clicks of up and it was trimmed. The 3W-24 started and flew great and had good power. here are the pictures after the maiden flight.

Congratulations on a good maiden flight!!! That's a good feeling to go with a good looking airplane. Oh, I always take my pictures before the maiden flight. You know, just in case.
Thanks,
Barry
