I just purchased a ucando 60 and a ys 110. I am ready to assemble the plane. Does anyone have any suggestions to make the plane fly it's best and last the longest?
Thanks,

Beef up the landing gear block with some tri stock hard balsa or hardwood. Use poly glue to glue that in. I moved my rudder servo to the bottom in front of the tail wheel and went with a pul-pull. I also used small robart hinge points in the rudder and elevator. That 110 should fly the snot out of this plane! Watch the speed, she tends to flutter in fast flight.

Someone mentioned drilling and putting toothpicks in the firewall from the side. Has anyone tried this? Does it beef up the firewall?

Pin the firewall, beef up the landing gear, weld the ys muffler together (somehow make the two peices not come apart or you will loose the back half), put the tank on the cg, check for right thrust in the firewall (mine had none), use a low pitch prop or it will flutter (I used a 16x4 APC). Enjoy the ucando, it is a blast to fly.
