Default Jet-Hobbies ROCKS!!

Some of you may have been following the landing gear saga that I had on my CMPro Super Chipmunk .40 ARF that I got through Jet-Hobbies.com -- (http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_34...tm.htm#3497302). Many provided helpful suggestions and I was able to reenforce the landing gear without incident.

By reading these threads it's clear that we all modify or strengthen our ARFs (firewall, glue here, glue there) from time-to-time.

It was suggested to me by Forestroke to contact the distributor (Jet-Hobbies) to see if they'd be willing to do something about the landing gear problem in the wing, so reluctantly I did not expecting too much for a $130.00 ARF.

What I got in return was nothing short of exceptional customer support from the guys at Jet-Hobbies. Not only did they provide immediate response to my email, they contacted their manufacturer with a full description of the problem, provided feedback from the manufacturer as to future modifications on their kits to mitigate further problems, and made me whole by providing another ARF to my satisfaction. They were empathetic and apologetic to the problem I was dealing with. I certainly wasn't expecting all of this but am glad to see that the guys at Jet-Hobbies really care about their customers.

I HIGHLY recommend you at least look at these guys when thinking about another ARF purchase in the future (http://www.jet-hobbies.com/). At least they stand behind their products AND customers.

If you've had similar experiences with Jet-Hobbies, let us know here!

Not a commercial, just honest feedback on somebody in our hobby who provide products and services to us.....

well i'm glad that they took advantage of the opportunity to prove themselves worthy of your business! i'm even happier that you'll have a spare chippie.

it seems businesses rarely own up to their faults these days, uniformly rejecting claims as if policy. when in fact, legitimate customer complaints, like the one you had, really can help them stay in business longer. i'm sure they had a field day with their manufacturer over it! but rest assured, their quality will improve because of what you did.

and you should definitely thank yourself for pictorally documenting the damage well before you started on any fixes.

once again...

CONGRATULATIONS to you AND jet-hobbies!
