Default My thoughts...

Here is what I think. If you are thinking about putting a Ys-91 on it, why don't you go with more power with about 1/3 the cost. I have a Magnum .91 two-stroke on my GP Extra 300 65" which weighs a little over 8 pounds. I spin a 14x6 prop and it has serious vertical. Probably could go for a 15x6 also with no problems. This would weigh so much less than the G23. If you have to have a 4s, you go with an OS 120III, which weights pretty much the same as the YS but can swing a bigger prop.

I believe you might have to move the firewall back with a G-23 as it is quite heavy....I had a .91 on mine and it flew great! Either way, that is one great flying bird...

Default Joss Stick Motor

I have an MDS 148 on mine. I fly in Denver at 6000' above sea level. Nice vertical.

Plane is turned upside down. It's a low-wing taildragger.

Had to add a bit of down thrust in the engine after I turned it over. The firewall has about 1 degree of downthrust built into it. So, when I turned the plane upside down, I needed about 2 degrees of downthrust to correct it.

I placed some hard plywood in the saddle where the horizontal stab is supposed to be. I mounted a Klett tailwheel. I glued the horizontal stab to the top of the plane where the tailwheel would have mounted; had I not flipped things.

Dual elevator servos and pull-pull rudder.

It's pretty cool. Flies nice, but kinda heavy at 10 pounds.
