I bought a MT Magic for the son-n-law this past holiday, and would like someone to tell me where are you mounting the receiver & battery? This is not his first. Setup w/ 46fx 12.25x3.75 apc. The cg, from what read from other threads, is a bit more aft than recommended. What is recommended for moderate to extreme 3D? I read 30-35% aft, is this ture? [sm=confused.gif]

I am not familiar with the model that you have so cannot help.
I would have to say though that you do yourself no favours with your sarcastic "thanks".
Sometimes an instant answer is not possible so please be patient.

If you go to this link and scroll down you'll see some great setup tips and CG placement along with some great video of the magic in action
enjoy
I can tell you from first hand that the magic flys better with a 4 stroke but will still be fun with a 2 stroke
good luck they are a blast to fly

fitting the components is tricky. Use a JR 7xx series receiver and square 750 mah from radicalrc, as I suggest in my documentation. They both go right in back of the tank with the battery on top of the receiver. If you are running futaba, I don't know what receiver will fit in there.

Thanks, its a good site. I tried to get Hobby People to call me back for a week. After the servo's & tank are in there's no room batt & Rx. Ah well, I'll figure it out.
