Default Pulse XT 40 RX question

This is the first large plane I have ever put together so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I am using a Spektrum AR7000 RX and Spektrum 1100mah RX battery. I do not see any way to secure them except to us Velcro tape, but I am afraid that a med to hard landing would jar them loose. Is there something I am missing?

In the Pulse XT 40 there is 2 spots cut out in the wood for a battery and receiver. In my pulse I wrapped the battery and receiver with foam untill they were snug in there respective spots then use a zip-ty over the center of each component. You would have to drill holes for the zip ty if you want to go that route but just wrapped in foam made them snug enough.Hope this helps

I did the same. I wrapped battery and receiver in foam and made them fit snug. I didnt even tie them in with anything and they have never come loose. Aerobatics....stalls, rolls or the har landings i had it first....they dont move. I place flat battery in the opening right behind the tank(has a slot along side it)....and the reciever in the oval space behind that. I did take a dremel and cut a half circle shape in the oval spot so that the plugs going into the receiver would clear without a problem.
