Default graphtec r/c

Anybody dealt with Graphtec R/C from Texas? I ordered gear from them and havent seen it and have been unable to contact them. Their phone just rings and 2 e-mail messages have gone unanswered............. I saw a lot of postings of people who purchased gear for their Reactors who I guess had good luck. I ordered and paid for the gear 2 weeks ago. Its strange I cant get anyone to respond to e-mail and there is no message on the phone.

I've ordered gear from them a couple of times. The first time I ordered, no problem, gear arrived in a couple of days. 2nd time I ordered, I had to call twice in a two week period to get them. I like the gear and the quality is great, but I probably tried to call them about a dozen times to get 2 answers. And never got a response through e-mail either.

Not sure what's going on there, unless they're at one of the big events like topgun, or going to SEFF.

I finally got a response today saying they shipped the gear yesterday. That means my order sat for a week before anyone bothered to ship it. I guess the gear would have to be pretty outstanding in order for me to order again. I get anything I order from Sig or Balsa usa in 3 days. Even Central who is on the western end of the country gets me stuff in 4 days.......I guess two weeks is too far out for me.

I purchased a gear from him around Christmas time. He never would answer my calls or emails but I received the gear about 10 days after ordering. The quality was good. I would order again from him.

I've ordered from him before several times with good results. I think he makes all the gear. So if it's not in stock it takes a bit longer. But the stuff he puts out is quality.

Best gear on the market in my mind. I have ordered two sets of gear from them and they are top notch. My first set took about ten days the second less than a week. I am pretty sure he makes this stuff to order. I got the same set you are waiting for my Reactor. You will love them and they will take care of the tipping problem that plagues this model.

two weeks is a long time, but I've had to wait longer for other items. You will really like the gear when you get it. Very good quailty stuff, and yeah when he's out of stock on items it can take a while, but the wait is always worth it from graphtec.

I had my gear delivered today. I guess it's OK maybe my expectations were too high. The two sides are not uniform in width or shape. The curved profile is even different by about 3/16 in the center if you hold them together and compare. The sides are finish sanded but show some rough sanding underneath. I can finish sand and it will look better but I think it should have been sanded a little better. The high gloss finish would have been excellent had it not been for a big dull sand mark the size of a quarter on one top surface mid way down the leg. I guess they are better than the stock gear at this point but I was looking for a better more professionally finished product. Maybe my experience is different than others. They do look to be sturdy and the laminate looks nice.............
