How was the Hellcat, was it the 60 size? How did it perform? The G20ei is pretty heavy and I had it in a Yak previously, I am concerned with wing loading and not turning the airplane into a lead weight.

It flew very well with the G20, very scale-like.

Actually, looking at the article on the Hellcat and the video, he says the wing loading is too hot with the weight of the engine, which among other things, makes it come in like a brick if you lose power.

A 60 size P47 took a 42 oz engine without having to add tailweight???
That is wild. What is the over all weight? This sounds promising.

I put a pair of G-20 engines in my KMP F7F Tigercat and it does great. Lots of power for a 29 pound plane. Make sure you have enough cooling air for the ignition system. I also have one in a 1.20 BalsaNova and it came in at 11.10 pounds

Anyone have any ideas of a good match for the Zenoah G20EI 20CC gas engine, which airplanes they have had success with?

I have a 60 size ultra stick with a OS 91FS in it, does great, I had the G20ei in a Seagull yak 90, it was ok unless the engine died, then it was a lawn dart, had to add weight in the rear too.
