I think it would. It is mentioned in the instructions as a light weight alternative to the G-62 and it seems to have about the same power.

RUNS LIKE A CHARM, AND OUT RUNS ANOTHER GUYS 34 FUJI ELECTRINIC, IN THE SAME PLANE, AT OUR CLUB. JUST TRYING TOO DECIDE ON A MOTOR, STEVE

WELL I WAS WONDERING ABOUT THIS MOTOR MOUNT I SEE IN THE MANUAL, AS I HAVE JUST RECIEVED THE 62...PACIFIC DOESNT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT IT OR AS TOO HOW FAR THE ZENOAH 62 NEEDS TO BE PLACED OUT IN FRONT OF THE FIREWALL. DOES ANYONE KNOW OR COULD EXPLAIN THIS AS THIS IS MY FIRST GIANT SCALE, AND WANT TO TRY AND DUPLICATE WHAT I SEE HERE IN THE MANUAL. PAGE 7 AND 8 OF THE MANUAL THANKS STEVE

The engine box is not glued in. You mount the engine on the firewall and then slide the engine box in or out to make the back of the prop 9" from the fiberglass fuselage cap, then glue the engine box into the fuselage. This is mentioned at the bottom of page 8.
Before you glue the engine box in place it would be a good idea to fit the cowl over the engine and make sure the prop clears the lower corner of the cowl by 1/4 to 1/2".
