i have never heard of them. to be added to the list of dozens of other vendors popping up in the the last few years. some are small time vendors selling the same stuff as everyone else.

Look again Rock, the prices are there, and are they ever! What I do not understand is the attached K&W site it says is located in the Phillipines and seems to have the same airplanes but does not have a price list, is it the same company as 3 Sea Bees or what?

K&W are the manufacturers, 3 Sea Bees are the U.S. dealers/distributors. If your looking for traditionally built classic scale aircraft these are probably some of the best pre-built (ARF) models on the market from what I have seen and heard. Their Stearman is on my wish list...

IAMKAOS,
Despite the fact that you have not heard of them......they have been producing over the last TEN years, some of the most beautiful high end scale airplanes in the industry. In no way should they be added to the list of "other vendors" as you say, who market and remarket the Chinese ARFS. Hope update helps.

RE: Your opinion on 3 Seabees
We have a Spirit of St. Louis hanging up in the LHS that I may buy if the price is right. From what I can see its a very fine crafted plane but there is allot of rust on the struts and the fittings. Its never flown just been drug around by various owners.
I guess they put Magnum 120's in these to fly but have not taken the time to go over it.
I think the founder of the Thai company that makes these models died a few years back. Supposedly he was a scale championship winner but no one could find his name anywhere. I know one thing I asked them about a new Spirit and they wre reluctant to quote a new plane they instead wanted me to buy the one on hand and have them fix it up. Which is okay with me if they will cut some slack on the price.

I sopke w/ someone out there to get the info and to place the order. It took a while to get it because I wanted the "Recall" scheme, so they had to make it for me. My recollection is that it took around eight months or so for delivery.
Asembly questions were dealt with by telephone calls and they were very responsive. The reason it's hanging in my office is that to get the wings (four panels) on and off requires more than 50 bolts, nuts, screws, clevises, turnbuckles etc. I don't have a trailer so I'd have to assemble/disassemble it every time I want to take it out.
Bottom line based on this one they have great products and I found that 3 Seabees was a good outfit to do business with. Be aware that you're at the very top of the ARF food chain when it comes to their stuff.

Mobyal, Your Stearman Is Beautiful! Do me a favor and Please put some foam padding between the wings and the chains. I don't want your finish to get scuffed up.
