Jonny,

For my P51 (new version) I just roughed up one side of the aileron servo with sandpaper, cleaned it up with lighter fluid to degrease it. I didnt bother with the plastic card that is glued to the wing rib, I just epoxied the servo to the balsa wing rib. Then when dry, I added the plastic card servo cover with thin CA.
My P51 is 3 years old and it's never caused me problems.

I once had the Commander 40 and a Decathlon. They were both great airplanes. I had a OS max 40 in both. I loved doing touch and goes with the Decathlon. Wish I had one now.

Ah! Touch and goes....nice

When I was a kid I had the EZ Supra-Fly 25 and the low wing (red) EZ Reno Racer. As an adult I got ahold of the Supra-Fly 45 and flown the yellow mid-wing (yellow) Reno racer.

I love the EZ stuff but could not generally afford it way back when-

As I remember, a F-16 was for sale on the RCU marketplace last year. He still had a F-18 and wasn't giving it up.

I have about 15 different EZ planes in my fleet and the ones I can remember off hand are, 2 P-51, Dego Red, Decathlon, Lazer, Pitts Special, Christan Eagle, 4 Chipmunks .25, 2-.40, and a 1.20, FW 190, F-16, and Reno racer. I think they are fine flying planes, but I see no particular need to keep them in the box, the value is in flying them.

Completely agree. i get a lot of people saying.."wow...those are collectible" .....Yeah...watch me as I assemble and fly them. Would you happen to have a blue mustang? Which Reno racer do you have?

I am probably going to regret this, but I am putting my pristine NIB EZ Reno 250L (Red) up for sale including a NIB OS 35AX. This is a sweet setup. I thought about holding onto it, but I have 2 Dagos and I'm low on funds for another project I'm working on. I paid $300 for the Reno 250L and $145 for the 35AX. Anyone want to make me an offer for both?

I remember reading some nut case on RCU who used something like a ST G2500 on a Voodoo ... Never saw the video of it flying but the engine bolted on right! Imagine a YS110 with a 13x12 prop, one of those F3A props and 30% nitro. That would be awesome.
I fly at the Sepulveda Basin, public park are, near the Van Nuys, CA airport. We are right next to a golf course. We are lucky to have an AMA Chapter Club who got a fully legal AMA 603' field made with taxi-ways, pit area, heli field, electric area, and a control line area. Jets are flown here from all over SoCal. We have a group of guys who fly YS 110s with APC props on WM P-51 Mustangs. They haul at speeds in excess of 110mph. I think the fastest YS 110 mustang topped 143mph. One of our guys flew his w/a YS .91 Heli motor at around the same speeds. Another bought an OS 120AX, put a straight pipe on it, and topped out around 152mph. PowerMaster YS 20/20 fuel is the norm. We have a couple who fly 30% heli fuel. The WM airframes hold up for as many as 70 flights this way. That's after CA in all the areas you can get to, epoxy in the firewall area inside & out, and mounting the engine inverted. Happy flying to all!

My bud put his EZ zero into a tree recently. Good news is it suffered very little damage. Bad news, getting it out of the tree damaged it further then he wants to repair it.

Anyone have need for parts? If I recall correctly it's the Green Version.
