Well I have to tip my hat to the folks at Horizon Hobby once again for their awesome service and sense of customer.
The other week I purchased an Ultra Stik, the one with the transparent covering.
A few days later during a rain storm decided to put it together for something to do. When I pulled the wing panels out I noticed all kinds of sawdust inside.
Aw nuts! No big deal to fix and had it been a solid color would not have even worried about it but with transparent covering it looked ugly.
Also I was not keen on driving to the LHS to pickup a whole roll of covering to replace the 2 feet of covering that I was going to have to cut out.
So I decide to phone Horizon to see if they could just mail me a couple of feet of covering.
Let me tell you the fellow I spoke with (MJ) was great to deal with. I offered to send photos but he said it wasn't necessary (I did anyway for their QC people to see). I explained that I didn't need new panels because I could fix it easily enough I just needed a few feet of the transparent yellow and didn't want to buy a whole roll.
MJ said he would fix me up BUT I had to take a whole roll - NO Charge.
Now that was on Friday 7/16/10 and he said it would be mailed first thing Monday. This morning 7/21/10 Can Post showed up at my door with the roll of covering. Unbelievable how quick it came via priority post.
To the folks at Horizon Hobby and especially MJ - my thanks and my compliments on your sense of customer and customer service.

Everybody gripes about the cheap ARFs. This just proves my point !!!! Ya get what ya pay for !!!!!!!!!!

Last year I dropped my 9303 and broke two switches off just before a fly in. I called them for service and shipped them the radio. Within 7 days of me shipping it I got it back and all fixed up at no charge. Couldn't believe it, called them to give them my credit card and they told me not to worry about and thanked me for being a customer. Great folks to work with. Jerry.

I cant say enought good things about Horison , I think they are #1
