I know this probly gets asked alot around here but im looking for a good beginner plane. I know alot about rc (5 years nitro cars) so I know alot about electronics engines ect.
any other helpful info is welcome.

You want to get a trainer...first. Trainers consist of an above wing, tricycle gear, and a 40 size 2 stroke engine. I great plane to start with would be a DuraPlane Trainer 40 ARF. You can find it and everything you need to build it at towerhobbies.com. Good Luck. It's a great sport.

Welcome to airplanes. There seem to be countless trainers on the market. I really haven't seen any bad ones and serve as a club trainer and AMA Intro pilot. The 60 size trainers seem to work better as they allow more thinking time and are easier to see. Your car experience will help with the control reverses however you will now have more controls to think about. One of my favorites is the Sig LT-40 (which does fly very well on a 40) but is the size of most 60 size craft. You will need to get some instruction with the planes.

what do you think of the airplane factory combat trainer 40? They seem pretty durable and have a simple design. plus I can get one with every thing I need for around 300

The combat trainer is fast and heavy (for a trainer)...get a REAL one... This is as opposed to the guy showed up at the LHS with a built Guillows P-51 and TD .049 as his first plane, cuz the other LHS wouldn't advise him - just wanted to sell stuff.......
