Hello,
I remember there used to be a special place for simulator questions, but I cannot find it on this site anymore.
Anyway, I have a simple question-
I have a Real Flight Lite simulator, is it possible to learn hower on it or I need the Real Flight?
Also, what plane should I use? I have add on #1 as well.
Thank you and sorry if this is the wrong place for this question.

From: gone,
The sim wll help. As far as the trainer is concerned, there is not a lot of difference between the lite and full versions.
The best chance of hovering is the Somethin Extra.

I forgot to mention that I have mastered the basics, but now I am trying to get into 3D. I just bought Magic Extra and flew it the other day with very low settings. It flew great, but I do not want to rush things with a real plane.
Thank you guys for all the help, this site is great and I have learned so much!!!

From: gone,
If you can't reliably do it RIGHT on the sim... don't do it with the model.
The sim is usually a little harder than the actual model, so you end up being relatively safe that way.
Also, when practiccing a new maneuver with the model... do it HIGH. When practicing torque rolls... you need to have already MASTERED spins and spin recovery with the model. A botched torque roll can lead to a spin. (especially if the engine dies)

ive been flying my extra 300 os 61........ Well its a sweet plane and i think what i did is advance myself way to fast in the purchase of this plane. What i mean is i haven't done any maneuver's with it...I fly it well and i haven't had any accidents with it or any of my other planes. I'm going on 4 months of flying now . so i purchased a ultra stick 40 added a 46fx from my trainer as to help me in my maneuver's ive been avoiding,..I felt the trainer was limiting me from advancing , it floats to much and dosent roll well , sorry if I'm babbling to much....my question is i want to improve myself how would i start a spin and maybe you can give me other maneuvers recommendations to do as well

To Spin; get the plane up quite high (like 12 mistakes high
). Now, reduce throttle to idle and start feeding in up elevator. The plane will lose speed quickly. Just before the plane stops flying, apply full left ailerons and full up. The plane will drop it's left wing and head for the ground, but it will start spinning as well. You can ease off on ailerons to slow the roll rate (which will probably be a good idea with the Stik), and you can apply opposite rudder to flatten out the spin.
When you're about 4 mistakes high, release all the controls and the plane should stop spinning. Apply a bit of throttle and up elevator and you should be flying again.
There are occasions where opposite aileron is required to stop the spin, but I doubt that will be an issue with the Stik.

Good luck,
