it is turned off and it has been on the charger for over 8 hours and still showing no signs that it is taking in a cahrge...
is this possible that leaving it on for 12 hours can cause the battery to be so low on charge that it will not accept a charge?
this is really weird andybody with any info on this please share...
thanx

HAPPENED TO ME!
I did i stupid thing when checking my charge and plugged it in the the Rx side. plus it has also happened for no aparent reason. I'm will to bet your fuse is blown! if you opend the back of your Tx and you will see the circut board with a little small glass tube thingy with mettal caps on the ends. you can pop it out and see that it is probably burnt, When i first did this i brought it to my LHS and they showed me what i did and gave me a new fuse. There about $4.00 up here in Canada. I always keep a spare fuse in my flight box now, cause you never know!

I had a wall charger go bad and it would no longer charge the rx batteries but would the Tx.
Righty is probably right. It seems to me that even if the battery is shot, it should still complete the circuit to turn the charge light on.

My Feedback: (4)
I recently left a Futaba transmitter on for over 24 hours. (Buddy Box, and not sure how it got turned on.) I left it on the charger for about 24 hours, and it came back to a full charge. (Will probably cycle it to determine if there's any damage to the pack though.)
I'm thinking it might be a fuse or something too.
Good luck.

sorry about my "fugly" description.
When you take off the back cover (be sure to take out the cyrstal as well) you will see that the top part houses the joystik mechanisims and the lower part houses the circut board. The fuse should be located near the middle and twoards the top of the circut board. it is held in by a little metal clip on each end of the fuse. If you have little baby fingers you can just use your hand. But I took a tiny screw driver and poped it out. But be careful not to damage anything if you do it that way.
Now once you have it out hold it by the little metal caps on the ends and bring it up to the light. If it's NOT burnt out you should see a little wire that is going straight from one end to the other (it should be taught, not loose). But if you do not see the little wire or you see it but it looks burnt or broken then it is burnt out. So just bring it to your LHS and show it to them and they should have a replacement.
Hope this helps!

has excellent quality Tx/Rx batteries and you can get them in high mah ranges. They ARE pricey, but are some of the best quality I've ever used. I have one of their 1100 mah Tx batteries and it's good for at least a couple of hours use.
Otherwise, your LHS should have replacements.

This has happened to me. If it still doesn't charge up after what you've tried, do this:
Make sure that the battery is plugged straight into the charger. When I did that it wouldn't charge it through my transmitter at first; too drained. As soon as I took my battery out of the tranmitter my charge light came on. I just left it like that for about an hour and then put it in the transmitter and let it charge all night. Full charge in the morning. I use a stock charger also. Hope this helps.

Attaching the pack directly to the charger might help, might not. Worth a shot.
SRBatteries makes terrific packs using only Sanyo cells. There are other less expensive places to buy them if money's an issue. (Like that four letter word eBay.)

When a battery pack goes completely dead many times the individual cells have positive or negative charge that balances out to zero. This means some of the cells have changed polarity. In order to 'repolarize' the cells in the proper direction you need to pulse them with a pretty strong current in the right direction.
To do this just pull the pack out and hook it directly up to a 12 volt battery for about 2-3 seconds. Repeat this until the battery pack reads around 1 volt per cell. Do it too many times or hold the connection longer than 3 seconds and you will most likely destroy the battery pack. Then reinstall and charge normally. This also seems to remove 'memory'.
It is good practice to cycle the battery pack afterward to check if it is flyable.
