Any of yinz gus notice that when you go to fuel your plane, whether your using the fuel filler tube or pulling the tube off of the needle valve, that when you insert the metal fitting, it slides out. I use a hand pump and it never fails as soon as the fuel starts flowing, the valve comes out and glow fuel shoots all over the place!!! Well, I gotta fix for that. I have some small spring loaded clamps that have rubber on the ends. I insert the valve and then administer the clamp over the tubing thus fastening it to the valve. The tube don't slip off and you don't get fuel all over the place.

I think you must be using fuel line that's too large. I've never had that happen in nine years of flying.

No, fuel line aint too large. When I first started in glow aircraft, a guy in the club with years experience told me what to get. I got 10 feet of the stuff. It fits snuggly on all the needle valve fittings and the tubes that are on the fuel tank. The fuel line don't come off of those. It don't happen all the time but at least half the time. Could be that the fuel nipple on my hand pump is crappy. In any event, the trick works for me every time.

Same as guys never had that problem, i just use a piece of brass tubing inserted one end into the tubing from the pump then just pull the tubing off the carb and insert the brass link... Always get a good tight fit, maybe you could try larger diameter brass tubing link?

what size fuel tubing are you using? I have never had the problem either, unless I am fueling the heli, once in a great while it pops off, but not often. Make sure the clamp you are using doesn't cut the fuel line. Even a pin hole will cause you huge headaches.

I actually cut a 1/4 inch piece of fuel tubing and put it over the fuel tubing on one plane cause the fuel tubing keeps slipping off the new rear needle on the os 15. Hate that rear needle.

Good idea Dave, I have that problem at times but I have the fueler that fits into my Slimline fuel dots that are on a few of my larger planes and that Dang fuel line always slides right off so I have to hold it to fuel the planes without the fuel dots.

I pretty much don't have a problem fueling mine... It has popped off
on a few occasions and it's mainly on the first fill of the day, And I
may be just pumping to fast(manual)... To me it's a good indicator
when to cut or replace the tubing:-) But I only did it once since I
started flying(year... Lots of flying:-))... And that's when it was hot
and the fuel nipple was abit short.... So I cut a longer one and it
works Great!! I also now use a filter on the outlet line from the can.
Although.. I'm getting a lot better.... My main problem is pulling the
fuel line first instead of the vent, I still do it at times.... even with
different colored tubing...(Darn senior moments).. That's a "BIG"
no no on a YS... The back of my car can attest to that:-(......

Yeah Dauntae... They do shoot out pretty good.... Never had a
face full, And I hope I never taste the fuel... It's enough that I
smell it all day:-))).... I haven't done it for a while now... So

I'm curious if a shorter hose will work. Given the small diameter of tube the velocity will cause enough friction that it will increase the pressure...the longer the tube the greater the pressure required to put fuel in. Just an idea.
