Any problems associated in mounting an Evolution .61 inverted? Does the remote needle valve get relocated to the bottom (inverted top) of the casing? Thanks for your help.

Mounting any 2 stroke engine isn't recomended. The engine is pretty hard to start unless the plane is inverted making the engine upright. Also in most cases the fuel tank is higher than the carb and this causes the fuel to siphon into the engine. When that happens the fuel douses the glow plug and the engine quits. If you must do this, an on board glow plug driver helps. 4 strokes have a different design and aren't as bothered by inverted running. [8D]

Here we go again. There should be no significant problems in mounting your engine inverted. The Evo is no different than a host of other 2-strokes that work just fine when inverted -- just get the fuel tank height correct & there should be no problems. I have several inverted 2-stroke setups & I don't use an on-board glo-driver -- they work flawlessly.
