I'm not flying the coffee table!!!

So yeah, I'm too slow this morning. I'll try to get the starburst pattern on the fin/rudder this afternoon after work. Hopefully, it'll go quickly (now that I've had a little practice) and I'll be able to get the stripes tomorrow. The wing starburst will probably take me more than one afternoon though. Whatever, we'll see how it goes.

Have fun at work guys! I will.

Covering looks fine. Besides, how many people get to fly an end table? [sm=bananahead.gif]

AndI hear lemon pledge takes wrinkles out of monokote too![sm=bananahead.gif][sm=lol.gif][sm=bananahead.gif]

Just wait until he's just a little bit tired and monokotes neon racing stripes on Mrs. Kiswa's grandmother's antique coffee table - that's when things will REALLY start to fly! [sm=bananahead.gif][sm=biggrin.gif][sm=bananahead.gif][sm=biggrin.gif][sm=bananahead.gif]

I kinda like the idea of neon racing stripes on a coffee table. They would be all wrong on an end table though. [sm=bananahead.gif]

Definitely, an end table should have a starburst pattern!

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm not really feeling it today guys. So, no covering will be taking place. I think I just want to play around online and chat with my wife (she's at work and I got her to install Google Talk, it's kinda neat).

Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know, you won't be seeing any new covering from me today. Sorry.

Don't get your wife fired. I understand that some companies frown on internet use in Fla. [sm=bananahead.gif]

I'm not sure what he meant, but I'm the webmaster (and a member of) Eglin Aero Modellers. So... maybe he knows me.

Anyway... I lied. The bug bit me again so I went ahead and covered the fin/rudder with their overlays. As you can see in the photos. I also included an overview image of the top of the plane... 'cause I felt like it.

Oh My Gawd!!! Just look at that turtle deck!!
(Yeah, he's done this before)

That's looking really good. And with my experience with Monokote, that's very impressive.
(Either that or you're an even better photographer than kit builder...)

I'm not much for photography... so I guess I'll have to say thanks for thinking I'm so good at covering with Monokote.

What do you guys think of those tail feathers? Pretty visible, eh?

Everythin glooks great to me so far. That covering job is superb. I love that redish looking for the fuse and wings. I'm still getting used to that starburst pattern, but it looks great anyways.

Ain't nobody going to miss this plane in the plane. I'm really loving the checkerboard pattern on the bottom.

You covering expertise is maganificant.

Hope everything goes well. I'm ready for a video of the maden already. I guess you're pretty close to doing that, right?

Good Work

~Michael~

No, it's the end table he's gonna fly. Coffee tables use too much Monokote.

Oh my god, people!!!! Leave the tables alone; they're not going to fly!!!!! AAGGGHHHH!!!

Seriously though, you guys have me laughing out loud with the table comments. Whew....

I'm hoping the bug bites me a little earlier today than it did yesterday and I can get the striping on the sides of the fuselage done this afternoon (well, whenever I get home from work anyway).

I promise, the covering job I've done somehow looks better on camera than it does in reality. I'm not that good at this covering stuff, I'm just anal-retentive and detail oriented.

That's what we've been trying to tell you, but you keep bringing it up. We figured if you were that determined, we'd try to be supportive. Isn't that what this forum is for??[sm=wink.gif]
