I think i beat all you for youngest R/C pilot. I'm only 11 and started last year!

I'm not going to hold it against him. A lot of guys his age are afraid of not getting the respect they desire and choose the wrong way to get it. Now that it is out in the open, he can go from there. We've all tried to help young fliers before. Some deserved it and others didn't work out so well. Right now Karter is back to square one without prejudice from me. Where it goes from here is up to him.

Actually is my mom. Shes a identity control freak everything has to be fake[:@]. so I edited the twelve out of that post and forgot about the other. Curse you who has good memory! so I actuaaly am twelve. Actually I did at one pint have on this thread that I was twelve but my mom told me not to so I changed it. And I did actually half to get out on the roof and mow the lawn and scrape and blow the drive and I did have pinkeye tuesday. so the age thing is all thats wrong everything else is right. Now thats all cleared up. lets get back to the plane. Any thoughts about the mods color scheme, anything?

and the wife thing??
and the wife thing??
Sounds like his mom thinks we're a bunch of predators. I know us R/C types are a bit on the wierd side, but we're basically pretty harmless.

I think he's saying he substitued "wife" for "mom" because his mom didn't want him telling people over the internet that he was 12. So he tried to fool us. I can see a mom being protective like that. Especially around us RC guys... we're craaaazy [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

Old farts? I'm 19... when did that qualify me as an "old fart"? How did this happen? Help me, I'm having my mid life crisis...

Well it's good to know you guys will be there for me as I go through this difficult time. I'm thinking the best way is to buy a big 1/3 scale gasser... then I'll feel young again!

Hi! I just thought I'd chime in and say thanks for the complement on my covering scheme. I'm really impressed someone would consider using it on their own plane (and I must say, it IS very easy to see in the air for orientation).
We're all looking forward to seeing how your build goes. Just don't try to beat my record-holding post count!
EDIT: And for the record, I'm 25 (26 in May) so I'm not an old fart either! (Not really....)

Well gosh you guys arent old farts (except for Bruce
) So I refuse to accept help from you
!! Anyway kiswa, is your covering scheme easy to do? I am still desiding between yours and krossks, I like both of them alot, krossks slightly better, but his looks alot harder to do. What about the mods!!! Nobody has said anything about the mods!!!

If you've read kiswa's thread, you already know all of my mods...
My covering scheme could be a lot easier if you aren't as particular about weight, overlap, and color transparancy as I am. I just tried to minimize overlap as much as possible.

When the time comes you will want a standard iron and a heat gun. A trim iron is a big help but can be worked around if the budget requires. Ooooooh, Budget, the curse word. [:'(]
