Rule of thumb with most "standard" radios is that if YOU can see it, you are in range. Of course you may not be able to tell what it is doing because it is so far away nor make it back to the field. There are other radios (park flyer type) that do not have this kind of range. You need to buy the correct type for the plane you are flying. There is very seldom a reason for flying at the extreme ranges.

Ok, I'm going to step in here. Some of the questions that are being asked are starting to be very suspicious. I would ask that you take a few minutes and let us know what you're wanting to do in this hobby, and maybe a little bit to explain these questions that you have asked. If not I'm going to close down this thread. If these are legitimate questions the RCU members that frequent this forum will gladly answer your questions.

I apologize if this action upsets you in any way, but in the wake of September 11th most people get a little leery of questions such as those that you are asking.

OK now, the English is getting so bad that I have no idea what you are asking. Take your time typing and use spell check. Then re-read your post to see if it makes any sense before sending it please. Otherwise I, for one, will have to give up on this thread.

Do you have a viable excuse for such bad English, spelling and typing?

I for one am also curious, between his other posts about large and quiet helicopters and wanting to know what it will take for a plane to haul around 15 or more pounds and be a bomber, curious about max distance and now what appears to be on board camera's. I see this as someone wanting to find a way to pilot something for a long distance that is capable of dropping 15 pounds of something. If that does not work then it has to be a helicopter that is very quiet. I find that going from a bomber type aircraft that he knows is going to be noisy to the quietest helicopter somewhat unusual when you piece it with all of the other questions and how they were presented.

If I am wrong then I'll be the second to apologize but it's time he comes clean and explains what he is really wanting to do. I for one am not going to answer anything else until he does and you can bet I will be reading his other posts carefully
