Default plane wanted

Juan,

If you are looking for an airplane for sale, the classified section is where you should look, and you could post your "trainer wanted" message there. It would likely be seen by more people in the classified section.

Good Luck, I am sure you will be able to find yourself a good plane. It's a great hobby, enjoy.

Allan

The only problem with buying a plane is the good buys are so far away and shipping and proper packing don't come cheap.
Try looking at www.towerhobbies.com
Anouther good source is the local R/C clubs

Unfortunately Whirley Bird is probably correct if you were to try and buy a used balsa trainer.

However, if you can follow a few directions and can sweet-talk the owners of a local 7-11 store or gas station out of a couple of their old coroplast signs, you wold have most of the materials you would need to build yourself The Deb .

If you're just learning, The Deb would be an excellent choice as it is more durable than the traditional balsa and will survive the punishment a new pilot tends to put his model thru during the learning process.

As for servo's, you can always check ebay. you can find real bargins there sometimes.

Good luck,

Default A PROBLEM

WHIRELY, THE PROBLEM IS THAT I'M NEW IN THIS PLACE AND I DON'T KNOW WHO ANY BODY IS , AND THE OTHER THING IS THAT I HAVE A FRIEND HE HAS BEEN FLYING FOR OVER 20 YEARS, AND HE IS THE ONE WHO GAVE THE ENGINE AND CONTROL. HE GAVE THIS PAGE FOR ME TO LOOK IN AND TRY TO FIND A CHEAP, AND GOOD TRAINER ,ZISE 40 OR 60 WITH ONLY THE SERVOS THAT HE WAS GOING TO PUT TOGETHER FOR ME.

HE IS ALSO THE ONE WHO IS GOING TO TEACH ME HOW TO FLY.

..juan marin ,
I searched some sites and went through several catalogs and I can't locate a kit with just servos.
Your best bet is a RTF trainer for $300.00.
My friend shipped an Airstrike to Chicago and the Shipping fees were $260.00 + all the proper packing material.
BTW,
You said you had a radio?
WHAT TYPE/BRAND?
It's best to keep everything matched.
If your set on buying a used plane then by local so you can save shipping charges and be able to look at it

Hi Juan, glad to know you are starting this wonderful hobby, although you didn't ask for this advice, I hope you listen to it, try and go on a saturday or sunday morning to a flying field called AMPS, you can find them on the internet, there are plenty of people there that can help you get started and steer you in the right direction, great club, great people, I've a lot of friends there, just tell them Walter sent you, good luck!
