Well that just tops it!!
I lost my ultra stick and a foamie in the space of a few minutes.
The stick lasted about 45 seconds and then the wing fell off. I had GALLONS through that plane, I flew it daily for five months. The wing bolts are still tightly fastened to the mount which is no-longer attached to the fuselage. Oh well.......NEXT!!!
I got a full lipo on my foamie and it was noisy. I knew the mount was loose, but I did'nt think it would fail......I was wrong. About 15 seconds into the second lipo..... the prop ate half my plane before it cut it's own wire. UH...in true foamie fashion, it's ready for tomorrow thanks to the scrap pieces from my last victim.....um...foamie.
Now I have only 3 flyable planes and one is a trainer, (Foam, Kadet and 50cc Edge).
Guess I had better get the showtime finished this weekend.
I guess the best news is I never lost control of an airplane...not a WHOLE airplane anyway.
The stick is totaled, the RX is broken in half and the engine is gonna need a good look......anyone wanna buy some servos?

agexpert,
Sorry you're having such a bad time. About the only thing I can say that it happens that way sometimes. Once the bad "mojo" is on you it's hard to shake sometimes. A few years back I had a bad streak where I lost 5 planes in 2 weekends and all I had left to fly was my trainer. That's one good reason to keep your trainer!!!!
Hang in there, your luck will get better.
Ken

Thanks guys!!
I never even felt sad, mad or even disappointed. I just shrugged and loaded the pieces into the truck. I still have my 50cc edge and my 100cc extra, a Mayhem and a Showtime, both just need balancing and they are done...and if all else fails, The Kadet is there.
I now have an excuse to get a new .40 size plane. (OMP .40 profile Katana with Saito .82 is prolly gonna do it). I need a more agile 'every-day' plane anyway, and I already have the motor.
Sad, but I kinda like the idea of moving on....I'm a sick man.

Yup, happened here also. As of last weekend I was down to the ole Kadet also. Got another PC-9 and also a Super Decathlon on the works now. also finshed up a P-51 PTS for a friend, he doesn't want to fly it yet so I get to play with it for a while first
. Should have a fun day of all maidens when the weather clears up [sm=thumbup.gif].

Sorry to hear of your misfortune Mark, but true to new plane week form, I just got two new ones myself
. I just got home from a swap-meet where I won a WM combat Yak that has been set up with a nice big AXI brushless motor & a Jeti 30 amp ESC. I then sold another plane that I had won a while back for exactly what it cost with shipping to my door for a little AK Models P-40E Warhawk that I've been wanting. The Combat Yak is RTF as soon as I drop my reciever in it & I already have all the good electrics needed to set up the P-40E Like a MONSTER!! So woo-hooo, guess it's my lucky day in the middle of a long run of un-lucky days!![&:] Just keep on swimmimg![sm=wink_smile.gif]

Five planes in two weekends. Time to take up coin collecting as a hobby. When you get enough coins, buy a new plane.
