mine was in excellent shape, not any wrinkles to speak of, I noticed the P51 developed some after awhile, I ironed them out.
The only incident I saw was the switch being on, I just checked the battery again by putting my hobbico tester on it, it puts a load on the battery, so I was thinking of leaving that plugged in and let it drain the battery some, then recharge it on a slow charger.
I still have to put it together, which doesn't look like it will take long.
I heard back from the shop, the P51 engine is ok, NP so I'll get that back tomorrow. It is suppose to be a windy crosswind type of weekend here, so it will be nice to have the choice between the airplanes if the wind isn't favorable for the Alpha, the P51 is pretty solid in windy crosswinds. I really want to fly the Alpha though, big airplane, looks cool!

Chuck, I ran into a big problem with my Alpha 60. Before joining the wing panels I was checking out the aileron movenent on each panel. The aileron on the right panel is binding badly. You can hear a clicking sound coming from the torque rod area and the aileron is extremely hard to move. I know for a fact that the servo would stall.
I sent a email to Horizon so now I have to sit back and wait. The wing panel is unusable

darn...that stinks...you might want to call them and talk to them, I would think you might get a quicker response. I called them about my battery and talked to someone live, they were very helpful on the phone.
I will check out the ailerons with the radio before gluing the wings, thanks for the input.

I talked to them on the phone and they said to send the wing panel back to them. It's on it's way via UPS. The hobby shop where I bought it shipped it for me for free. Now that's customer service!!!

I charged it and checked it on a battery meter that puts a charge on it...everything looks ok.
How do I cycle the batteries without a dedicated battery cycler, which I do not have?

Thanks Bruce...but it was the receiver battery in the plane, the plane arrived with the switch in the on position, I was going thru the plane to check for damage, parts list, covering, etc and one of the things I check is to see if someone left the switch on and they did...
Do I do the same thing with the plane/receiver battery, just turn on the plane and play with it for awhile?
Thanks,
Chuck
