engine mounting on profile plane

I have an ARF SU-DO-KHOI profile (Morris Hobbies) The engine prop shaft (OS46AX) does not line up with the center of the fuse. Off by as much as 1/4" to Rt. side. To center the shaft I would need to trim down the mount (fuse) so much I think it would weeken the mount.
How close to centerline do I need to be?

My NexSTAR is the same way...sits cocked to the right. I don't know if this is normal or not. I read somewhere that they are supposed to be that way?

This is all normal you guys. These things need right thrust to compensate for the torque effect. it's a long story. The "ol farts" are still in bed, they'll explain it better when they wake up.
The plane set up if fine. Most Arfs now come with right thrust built into the firewall. You can tell by standing over the top of the plane and looking down it. Before this, we use to have to do it manually by placing things like washers behind the left side of the mount

On the profile plane, just don't worry about it. The thrust angle (centerline of the crankshaft) is still parallel to the centerline of the fuselage plank and the offset isn't enough to be concerned about. If it WAS an issue, it would have been addressed in the instructions. If you decide you want right thrust, add washers under the front eng mtg lugs. I'm assuming the eng is mounted on its side) exhaust facing down.

Having the crankshaft slightly off-center (yet still parallel to) the fuselage is just the nature of a profile plane. There's no need to be concerned about it or to try changing it.
