I have the feeling that us modelers have the tendency to be cat owners. Is this true? Can you post a picture of your cat? I know this may seem way off rc topic but if Im correct, we all love our little creatures who are almost always present when its shop time.

Two dogs here. A chow and a black lab.
Nothing against cats though. I became the property of a couple of feral cats a few years ago.
And although I never got to touch either one, I bought their food and put it out when they came around.
The lab is much more friendly.

I have a Cat...Its a Love/hate relationship. I like the damn thing....But I swear to god it destroys every model I build. I find bite marks all the time in my balsa wood. Thats a bad kitty.

I have 2 cats that would love to spend every second they could in the workshop. Problem is that they either go for the most inaccessible corner possible, or try to eat every balsa scrap on the floor. So they only get to come in after the shop is cleaned.

I never cared much for cats, but I'm gone to much to have a dog...so I have a cat. One of her favorite toys is my servo leads dangling out of a plane. She just recently chewed a servo lead off a brand new servo while I was assembling my new T-Rex![&o] I have to keep her out of the model room as much as possible....loves the taste of Balsa!
She also makes it almost impossible to practice on my G-3.5 simulator. She either has to sit on the transmitter or trys to chase the planes on the screen.
Her name is Buffy Barecat...she's NAKED!

3 cats, and other than rubbing against a plane once in a while, they have never tried to eat, or chew anything model related. This one is my favorite of the three:
