Modelers and cats

I've got one, he came my way after my wife and I seperated. He's officially my daughter's cat but I'm the one who winds up feeding, cleaning, etc etc,.... Very large, very loud, we often refer to him as the catdog because he seems confused as to what he really is.

I posted earlier, some pics of my Sphynx cat Buffy Barecat, the NAKED cat! This is my other baby. She is a pastel Bearded dragon and a VERY large one at that. She may look fearsome, but she is a big baby. She loves to be held and go for rides in the car. She doesn't have any interest in models though...mostly gobbles up big crickets, super worms, romaine, carrots, corn and grapes! Her name is Pookie.

Amazing [X(]. In just over 24 hours there were 56 replies to a post that has nothing to do with R/C....... Only one of my three cause any grief, and that is the one who likes to walk on my keybard while I am on-line....

Hello All - I'm new here. Only my 2nd post so far, but thought I would help contribute to this slightly off topic thread.
Blue - Flat Coated Retriever - This is Blue sleeping on my sons Spiderman pillow. He must have attention paid to him at almost all times. Really good dog and very well behaved though. He seems to have toned down and doesn't ask for much attention since we brought home the two kittens below. It's taken a week or so, but he loves his kitties now. He's taken a fatherly role to the kittens and has been seen cleaning them recently.

Google and Stetson - These guys are new additions to our household. They are about 9 weeks old and we've had them for almost 2 weeks now. Google is the dark cat and Stetson is the blonde cat. Both are awesome cats so far...

I'm going to start building my first model (in nearly 15 years) here shortly... Not sure how the dog or the cats are going to react.

The kids and the woman originally named him Goggles... When he was born he was much darker and had white outlines around his eyes that looked like goggles. Being the computer nerd that I am I was searching Google for something. The cat jumped up and and sat down watching my cursor move around on the screen. He started playing with the arrow and next thing we know we are all calling him "Google".

Nothing personal but I just knew the word "nerd" was going to be in the answer somewhere.

Heli Rod--That naked cat has to be the ulgiest animal I have ever seen. No offense intended, but WOW! Does it scare little kids????
Other than chewing up an occasional servo lead or chunk of balsa wood, her only other bad habit is sleeping on my head at night! Good thing I love her unconditionally or I would trade her for a new servo to replace the last one she ate.

From: , NC,
3 cats here. Countless hours spent trying to tune an engine to only find out that there is cat hair in the carb! That is now my first optiion if it seems to be running a little lean. I know, I need to cover my engines at home!

I have 8 cats, each one special. Only had one incident, one of them jumped onto my work bench, where I had stupidly left a newly covwered wing, and punched a hole through the covering. My fault. Anyway, I'm glad to see all the affection for cats, dogs, birds etc. as expressed in most of the posts. Cats and dogs are domesticated animals that need and deserve human contact/love/care. I figure that those that "hate" cats, or dogs or feel they "belong " in the barn, outside or whatever , fending for themselves, have a flaw in their make up. Don't even want to know them.

I had 2 cats and a poodle, They all loved to chase electric RC cars around. But since I grew up and moved to airplanes
needed a bigger pet to help me with the hobby, So I bought Tucker, He's a 4 year old Pure bred German Rottweiler.
although he thinks he's a cat. You can dangle string at him and he will lay on his back and paw at it, and he likes to
sit on your lap. In the pic he is trying to help make a cowl, He doesn't understand that a 2x4 is too heavy.
