I went to LHS to buy a battery and bought a plane too! [:@] So much for self control.....I ended up getting the Electrifly Fokker D-7 and can't wait to get her flying! I just love those WW1 planes....

I had no intention of buying one...but guess I was in the right place at the right time.....yeah right..LOL!
How many of you guys have done this, ever buy more then one?

My LHS has the GP Fokker DR-1 in stock... let's just say I have had to excersize a lot of self control not to break out the plastic cash for it as my hobby fund is depleted for the month

When I first got back into the hobby about five years ago, I went through a phase where I was spending probably $150 a month average on hobby gear of varying description. As long as the bills were paid and I was putting money in the bank, anything left over was fair game. This lasted for almost two years. Then I got married and bought a house.[&:] Since then, my spending has been a bit more reasonable, but I do still make the occasional impulse buy. When you've filled the memory slots on two computer radios and have no more room left in the basement to store more planes, the temptation to buy more is easier to resist...
...my brother won the GP SE-5A in the club's Christmas raffle, so he'll need a Fokker of some sort to chase him around the skies[sm=devious.gif]......No! Must..........re....sist.....[]

It hasn't happen to me just yet but i think it will soon the way i'm going.
I bought my first trainer in April and now i have the trainer and i just bought a sig 4 star 40. I also just bought the Futaba 2.4ghz radio. This is gonna make someone upset but it's not gonna be me.

There's a reason I get holiday greeting cards from my local LHS's....

Hell, I went into my LHS one time to pee and walked out with a Skybolt kit.

Its funny. If you don't have an money then you don't get impulse buys. Man I wish I had those impulse buys

Went to the LHS a few weeks ago to get a new prop.. walked out with a stick, asp 52 oh and the prop too

If i do walk out with something unexpected, I usually forget to buy what i came for.

I consider it a personal victory to walk out of my LHS without spending more than $100.

What makes it even worse is that I don't even look for a sale! I want it now....I can justify just about any purchase I make.....LOL!

Not much tempation at my LHS. Empty shelves, left over parts (anybody need a 5 gallon bucket of smoke oil), props in sizes that nobody uses, Aerobird parts, a gallon or 2 of fuel (if I'm lucky). [:@][:'(]

Went in the other day for some fuel tubing. Left with nothing.
