Sig 4*40, 40 size ultra stick, Sig Something Extra. the tower Fun P51 for 49.00 is a hoot, and a zillion more.
the Ultra stick has a flap option that I have had a ball playing with on the 60 size bird.

I think any of these would make a fine 2nd plane. I would also throw in the Sig Four Star 40, which is a traditional 2nd plane. Some things to consider:
- I prefer tail draggers. I know that the Goldberg Tiger comes as a trike, but it can be modified to a taildragger. The others are all designed as taildraggers.
- If you want to build a kit, you can build a Four Star or a Tiger, or get them as ARF's. The other two are only available as ARF's.
- It looks like the BH models are quite a bit cheaper, but I wouldn't let that sway my decision. The other manufacturers all have great reputations.
- Hopefully you plan to keep your trainer intact (don't cannibalize it for your second plane). If you don't already have a computer radio, now might be the time to upgrade. I waited until my fourth, at which time I was juggling three identical TX's for three planes. It can become a headache.
Good luck with whichever one you choose.

I know you'll get as many different answers as you do responses but the Goldberg Tiger gets my vote. The 40 or 60 size are great second planes. If you go with the kit build it as a tail dragger. If you go with the ARF the gear blocks are already in place. My bunch has a Tiger 2 with a 55 AX on it and a Tiger 60 with a 91 FX on it they are both a hoot to fly. Very forgiving or move the cg back about 1/4 inch from center of suggested and you nearly got you a pretty good 3-D plane.
