RE: ESC/MOTOR prolem what did I do wrong?
Just to say thanks..
Just to say thanks to everyone who helped me out, flew today with an 8x4 prop, current draw is safe without having to reduce the throttle throw. Flight was very much like a scale cub with the smaller prop, I'll have to see what it is like on an 8x6 as I could do with a little more in reserve when doing aerobatics but all and all a successful conversion of a Hobby Zone cub to a nice handling aileron trainer, one I might have given up on without all the advice. I've also realised that messing around is the only way to learn, I could even see me changing props depending on the wind conditions.
I'm now in a much better position regarding the electrickery to carry on with my next projects, a low wing conversion of the HZ Cub, a multiplex Gemini and a JP Sopwith Camel (nobody warned me about this model buying addiction thing!!!!)
