Default pulse xt control throws

setting the throws on a pnp pulse xt the instructions say"the rudder throw is measured at the counterbalance useing the top of the fin as a reference" what does that mean the pics show the measurement being takes at the top of the fin is this correct? i had in my mind you take the measurement from the widest part of the rudder

If they just gave you a control throw, with no other instructions, then yes, I would measure at the widest part of the rudder. But since they give you a photo, specifically showing where they held the ruler, I would set it at 3/4" per the photo.
