I have been using OMEGA for a few years now. I like the Castor/Synthetic mix myself. All castor gums up the engines, but a mix seems fine and clean using this OMEGA 10% Nitro. I have tried 12.5% and 15% but did not see any benefits from it, except a much higher cost. Castor can be purchased in a plastic bottle, and I prefer to add a little to the fuel as an extra measure when breaking an engine in, my personal preference and I kind of like the smell when the engine is racing in a low fly-by. There are fuels this one hobby shop I buy fuel for $14 per gallon by the case way out near Vernon, NY and it is the OMEGA. Flying field across the road is a plus. This is where I got the small bottle of a few ounces of Castor Oil from and is for those wanting to mix their own fuels. So, it is hobby approved.

Forgot to mention, there is a fuel available also from the hobby shop I like going to once in awhile that I would stay clear of, but that is because it seems to rust the bearing in the engine fairly fast. It comes in a metal can. Engines are too expensive to allow to rust just because of using this brand fuel. Thank you.

No Jim, it is like the price of coffee at Yarnes and Yoble or the Donut shops which surpassed the $2 mark long ago. Might better buy an expresso machine and brew your own in your car with an inverter. As for glow fuel, it will come into check when they finally wake up and smell the gasoline and a little oil mix, wondering whey their glow fuel no longer sells, and the Ryobi weed whackers keep coming up missing from the storage shed and the wife has to keep buying more and more weed whackers as they replace the engines that burn glow fuels, LOL.

Hint: Make sure the wifey has put at least a few tanks of fuel through it to break it in good before it comes up missing. That way you can spend less time breaking in the engines and more time actually flying it with pre-tested engines, spelling reliability, LOL.

LOL!

Exactly... At $24.99/gal around here, gas became very attractive.

It is sorta nice to fly all season long for under $15.00 or so now.
