I will make this asumption
You are referring to an aircraft system, 72 mhz FM, set to PPM mode.

JR transmitters are positive shift.
Hitec receivers are available in positive, negative, and select shift versions.

So, the answer is "Maybe."

"IF" the receiver is one of the following. (assuming your TX is 72Mhz)
1. Positive shift
2. Shift Selectable (usually via a jumper wire)
3. Auto shift.
The Hitec Supreme II, one of my favorite receivers, is auto shift and would work.
