No worries, I'm not the best at it either, and I AM starting to study rockets!
Move over gaRCfield I got it and I am going to start building rockets.

Hmmm. Google has it both ways and I'm no Bible expert so I'll concede.

Me either. That is how it is listed in the King James Bible. But Jobe sounds OK to me. Gee, I should have use the quotes.
BTW. I purchased my first Gas engine for my 1/4 scale clipped wing Cub. 26cc. Hope I can make it work. I normally go with 4 stroke but wanted to try a gasser. Won't get any help from the club members because no one has gas. (well maybe they do, depending on what they ate)

Just feed them breakfast.

Gasser shouldn't be too hard. I know some really dumb people that fly them..........................Just kidding.

So I'm in the middle of finals week, Irish, and have been living off pop tarts for the past two months...how 'bout some of them english muffins coming my way??

ORIGINAL: goirish

You got it. Where are you going to school . You know the funny thing is I have all kinds of education. All kinds of letters after my name and I can't do this silly little thing.
The beautiful Green Mountain State - University of Vermont - so I'll trade you some pure Vermont maple syrup for those muffins =)

I bet there's a better way to do this than all the cutting and pasting, but at least it's something. Hopefully I won't be doing this much cutting and pasting on the 3 cowls I have to mount this winter!!! Definitely going to work in order of least favorite to favorite plane; hopefully by the third one I'll have it down.

One thing to point out here is to watch out for the fiberglass dust. I tried cutting one cowl so far, and I was itching for DAYS! Next time I'm gonna make a jig for my mini shop vac (and wear some ear plugs!)

Boy,,, I shouldn't have any problems flying them. I'm the dumb and dumber part of our family. I was going to go flying this afternoon but (as the song goes) "baby it's cold outside" I think as I get older I can't tolerate the cold as well. I do a lot of snow skiing but it is getting harder every year. We go to Colorado and do spring skiing. You have a great Holiday.

I'll just bring some muffins and we can put some of the good Maple syrup on them. I am really impressed with the way you have progressed so quickly in your flying. I am better than I was, but still just punch holes in the sky. Have a great Holiday

Gene,
Not sure where you need the most help right now!!

So you tell me... Do you want a primer on "quoting on RCU"?? Or one on cutting cowls???

As far as I know Minnflyer has never done anything on cutting a cowl.

Ken

Ken
We just have a good old time here on RCU- Someone sent a post about a video of Minnflyer cutting a cowl. BingoField gave me the information that I was looking for and Bruce helped me with the quotes. In all it has just been a great day. Didn't crash a plane, but then I didn't go flying either. I think for today I have everything under control. Just waiting for my gas engine to get delivered.

Irish - Type your reply AFTER the last [ /quote ] and you won't trap your reply and signature inside the "box".

Wow, that took some fix'in to get MY message outside the box. Here's another clue. The total number of [ quote ] sections must equal the number of [ /quote ] sections or something unpredictable will happen. I had to add 2 [ /quote ] at the end of your message to escape.
