Default Battery Problems For Super Cub

Hi all. I have run my supercub well once. But i have always had problens with the battery loosing its connection. And i have tried 2 connect it every way possible. I have watched the dvd and done that. But i get no response. What could the problem be, is it just me or maybe a faulty part? need help please.

The connector may be at fault. I had a ready to fly plane that I lost the battery in flight. Luckily the engine quit the plane went over in the neighbor's yard.

One of the little metal connectors inside the plastic body of the plug pushed backwards and wasn't actually connected.

the part may be faulty in the connector or the battery may not be charged?
Is there anyone around you that could help you or a hobby shop you could take it to?

At this point I would be wanting to measure voltages etc but I figure you are not able to do that?

One thing on the battery powered planes is that the transmitter throttle must be completely off when you plug the airplane battery in or they will not work until you bring the transmitter throttle lever back down to off.

But i have always had problens with the battery loosing its connection.
How do you know the battery is loosing it's connection? Are you sure the problem isn't with the receiver? Battery connectors are pretty simple, and if something was wrong you should be able to see it. If it works fine on the charger and you don't see anything wrong with the connection to the battery pack, I'd suspect the receiver of being bad. Double check connections there.

I bought one but gave it to a friend, and didnt even really look at it, does it have an actually receiver or is it one piece that has servos attached to it?...Your not leaving the battery plugged in are you?..he did that, not knowing any better and killed one of the batteries...is it just the motor or does anything on the plane work?..lastly are there batts in the transmitter?...does the motor/prop turn ok by hand?...Rog

no i dont leave it in, i turn the radio on attach the battery then it wont respond ,then when i have finushed take out the battery and turn of the radio

no everything wont respond at all, but i touched the rods buy accident then it made a little sound, so i think it notices the battery but nothing else would work and when i take the battery out and touched the rods there were no sounds, so i think it reads it but nothing would work

yes the prob turns fine buy hand

thanks
