It looks like the sale is over and the Magnum 46's are out of stock.

Yes, this is normal. No Magnum engines come with a glow plug in them.

A long time ago I was told that they ship them without glow plugs because it is then classified as parts and not a machine. Had something to do with the tax laws. Could be BS and they just save the price of a glow plug.

I once bought a car (small SUV) that was shipped into the country without a backseat so they could call it a pickup truck. Then the dealer bolts in the backseats.

I just love loopholes! I once ordered a chicken sandwich with mayonaise only and when I went to eat it, it was just bread and mayonaise.[&o] Not a loophole, but a true story.

PS: I got a tank through my new magnum and she sounds very strong.

I have an apc 12x4 on my OS46fx and it does great with it too. I am prolly gonna try one on this new engine as well. It seems to be a good prop on 46 engines. I tried the 12.25x3.75 once on the tt46 and it was amazing the difference in vertical power.

Funny, when I click on the link the price stated is $80. Sale must be over already.

I use the OS A3 plugs in the Magnums that I own. [link]http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCB26&P=ML[/link]

From my research, the Thunderbolt #3 or the OS A3. The manual says use a "hot" plug.

I run the #8 on warmer days and the #3 when its cold, the #8 will last a lot longer.

The #8 costs more also. It must have more platinum on the wire?

I don't know, but I knew there had to be something that made them worth more than gold!

Just bought an OS A3 at Hobby Town, $8.99. Ouch. Wanted to buy 3 but only bought 2. Temperatures here are only in the 20's right now. Did two test runs on one of my Magnums, was pleasantly surprised how it ran right from the beginning. Started easy, seemed pretty quiet with such a small muffler. Tried to start it a third time, but by then my fuel was cold, starter battery was cold and glow battery had diminished. But so far I'm impressed. Nice little motor.

I used these plugs for many years and still have a card of them. I did not have much of a need for the colds but the mediums and hots were good,

Wow, if they're anywhere near as good as OS plugs you can't beat $2 per plug. I'm going to order 6 standards and try them in my avistar with the .40 la and the .46 magnum that's on the way. If they work good then I'll try them in my Venus w/.46ax and post how I like them as soon as I can.

Get the mediums, I'm sure you will find out that they work just fine
