I stopped by to watch. I don't know anyone so I just kept to myself. It was a lot of fun watching you guys though. I was hoping to see beau0090_99's Sealane fly, but we didn't stay very long.

That's too bad. Did you see it laying in the grass? I wish I had known you were there, I would have taken it out for a flight with you. It was a perfect day for flying and I think there was a lot of nitro burnt.

Yes I saw it. We didn't have much time to be there. Otherwise I would have loitered a little longer until I could tell who you were. I suppose I could have started asking around, but I didn't.

Ok this is an old topic, but when are we going to have our get together? When is Ken coming up? Where are we going to have it? I know that May 8th is the spring float fly at Bush Lake, and Tcrc has an open house on June 12th, and the fall float is Sept 18th, and a few other things in between. I know that Tcrc would love to have other people come on down anytime. What would work at your place Mike?

Well, May 1st I'll be at Top Gun.
May 8th is our Mall Show.
May 15th I'll be at Joe Nall.
But I think that's all I have for this year. Ken is talking about July, but the dates are still fuzzy.
As far as our field goes, we can still fly at our current field - but the windmills are quite intimidating. We are in the process of getting a new field in the same area, but no official word on that yet.
But I'm not opposed to coming out there sometime. I've just gotten a few planes ready to go! But this weekend is Easter and next week is Toledo

Right now our field is under about 12' of water, we are flying at the fairgrounds but that is not a great place. Here is a picture of our flying field that Curt took about 1 week ago, I am not sure how tall the windsock pole is but it is at least 12-14'
