(previously used) I was wondering how to get the spinner off of its base... i dont see any screws but the bottom has these little things that look like if pushed together the base would slide off??</span>

Sounds like a Goldberg spinner.

There should be two slots where you can slide a screwdriver between the two pieces and pry them apart

Carl Goldberg spinners are snap together, that may be what you have. There are several little slots that you slide a small screwdriver into and twist gently and the cone will pop loose from the base. The things on the bottom you are seeing are what holds it together, don't mess with them. Look for the little slots on the outside circumference of the base.

i tried doing as you said ... haha but it does not seem to want to come apart.!

Post a pic of it if you can, but they do require a good bit of force. You won't break it, keep trying.

yeah that worked... I was afriad the plastic would snap if I tried too hard!

Place small flat screw driver in slot and pry each one of them...
