Hay...I picked up a used OS .52 four stroke. Its going to go into a Seagull Spacewalker 2 (used to have a TT .46 but it wouldn't run worth a crap mounted inverted).
Am currently repairing where the main landing gear mounts.
I was thinking of running a 12x6 prop. Am I in the ballpark with this prop size or should I be running something else?
Lucky...

It depends on what you want. If you want the engine to pull like a tractor, the APC 12 1/4 - 3 3/4 is the prop for you. General overall flying, the 12x6 is a good choice, but I like to take advantage of the 4 strokes ability to pull and I am not one for speed, so the low pitch APCprops work very well for me. Ithink you could even swing a 13x4 without issues. If you want speed, then lower the diameter and up the pitch.
I bought a couple dozen 12x6 wood Zinglers on Ebay when I first started flying, They were cheap and when I was going through two to three props a day, it was a good investment. I finally settled in on the APC 12 1/4 x 3 3/4 fortwo reasons. The added prop weight let the engine idle down with a more reliableslow idle around 2000rpm. It also allowed me to yank the plane out of trouble with thequick spool up of thefour stroke and theawsome pull of the wideblade, low pitch prop.
It really depends on what and how you want to fly. The engine is a very good choice, I'm on my second one and it seldomgives me any problems and those are quickly resolved.

I'll second the use of the 12.25x3.75 APC. It is one of my favorite 3D props and will swing pretty well on any 4-stroke. Only downside is that it is hard to find at most LHS and will have to be ordered. Just an idea.

For general sport flying, I really like the Master Airscrew 12x6 K-series prop. The K-series are wider bladed than regular props and are especially designed for 4-strokes. I think you'll like this match for your engine and airframe.

Please keep in mind that all props are not created equal. Each has a different "personality" built in by the designers. A Top Flite 12X6 wood prop loads the engine and pushes more air at the same rpms as an APC prop. The trick is that your engine will have more trouble getting the Top Flite prop to turn 10,000 rpm than the APC but if it could you should theoretically go faster. If you tach an APC, MA and Top Flite of all the same size you will find different rpms for each.
Like I have been told before it is best to get a hand full of different props in the "ballpark" so to speak and fly them that way you will find the one that suits your style the best.

12X4 APC!!! It's the only prop made today that will work on your engine!! This is the magic size for power and thrust!!!!!!!! Or you can read the sticky and buy a couple in it's prop range and do what most people do and test them to see what size you like?

This is changing the subject slightly but on a engine of similar application and reference - I used a regular APC 13 X 4 on a Saito 56 and a Ultra Stick for a couple years,
Did great for vertical in aerobatics. The engine would run too fast at prolonged level full throttle.
