Default Fuel Dot on Plane with a COWL (Not sure of Setup)

I have fuel dots on each of my planes except for my trainer. I really like using them so I don't have to remove the lines at the engine. So far I have not had a plane with a cowl, but now am building a Funtana S.40. In my other planes, I use a 3 line system and when fueling I remove use the fuel dot for filling with the pressure line off of the muffler for the overflow. How should I set this up on a cowled plane so I can remove the line from the muffler when I am fueling?

Any help would be appreciated, I would like to have the plane in the air this weekend.

Default a "T"

Use a T fitting on the muffler line and plug it with another fuel dot.

Another option:

1 Line with clunk to the carb,
1 Line as overflow/pressure line to the muffler,
1 Line with clunk connected to the fuel dot for filling/draining.

IF you don't happen to see the excess fuel in the overflow before it gets to the muffler, it isn't a big deal, you'll just waste more fuel.

P51-B: Do you mean that I will see the overflow out of the back of the muffler? Reason that is ask is the way you describe the set up is exactly what I use. By your statement it sounds like you look at the tail end of the muffler if you don't remove the line to the muffler itself.

What I have seen is to bring the fuel line to a visible part of the plane then back "down" to the muffler. When you see the fuel in the line, it is fueled!
