Even better with invasion stripes!

With these airplanes being as light as they are, the 4-Star will do better if the wind comes up. So in reality, the low wing will be easier to fly, than what you might be used to. The ailerons can be more effective on a low wing. But the 4 Star will still have all of the stability that you will need.

I have not flown a Pete and Poke, but they are kinda short, length and span, which would make it less stable compared to the 4S.

Sig Mid-Star 40, these fly ridiculously well and are a fun build.
Sig 4 star 40, these fly ridiculously well and are also a fun build.
Goldberg Tiger II - never flown one but many in my club have and they perform fantastic.

BTE Venture, the 4 star, that flies good.

The Great Plane P-51 kit is superb. Smooth flyer. Nice build. I won't do retracks again. Not worth the extra work.

I also built the GP P51. I won't do single servo mechanical retracts again on a plane this size for the same reason. On a plane this small, the servo linkage and adjustment on the retracts have to be perfect using a single servo, not worth the extra time and tinkering unless that is what you really like. I prefer to spend more time flying. Mine is working good now, still using mechanical retracts, but separate servos.

Yes, mechanical. Never even thought of a second servo. Indeed.
