Looks like your LT-40 turned out pretty nice Tigerdude. Whatever happened to the Scout? Still going to fly it?
See my gallery for current trainers, and others. Not many pictures of any of my old ones left. Here's what I'm working on learning to fly now..... sorry, no pics of my own yet, I'll update this later. :D (Does it really have to be a plane?!? :) ) |

Nice planes. Here is another PT-40. Good solid airplane. I originally built it with the full amount of dihedral, but it almost looked silly will so much. So I chopped the wing and removed almost all of it.
Scolpit - Do you have any pictures of how you mounted the camera on your PT40? |
RE: High wing trainer

Here's my SIG Kadet Senior. It's an old kit and someone (whoever built it years ago) put ailerons in it. Got LOTS of dihedral (more than the ARF of today for sure) and doesn't care for inverted very much. It's got a SAITO 50 on it with a 12X6 APC prop. It's kinda like a mobile chicaine in the air with the other planes. I threaten to put Slow Moving Vehicle triangles on the rudder. Great plane though. Flying it is kinda like working with an anvil, you know exactly what it's going to do.
A friend of mine at the club field keeps telling me that he's going to get some Maryland State Trooper stickers for the plane. |

Here is my Hobbico Avistar 40 Mk II. I got it as a gift about eight years ago. I built it but never flew it. Recently I finally started my training and have soloed on it. She flies great and I can't wait to get back out to the field if the wind ever dies down (30kts tomorrow).

What century and decade. The Goldberg 56 Mark II and Midwest Sweet Stick are from 1977-1978. The Hobbico Superstar Ep is from last year. Next up is the Hobbico Avistar.

Here is a pictures of my SIG Kadet Senior, I've been flying it for about 2 years. this year I took most of the dihedral out and added ailerons. It's just a great flying plane.

Here is my 2nd love. My first turned into a pile of crumpled balsa splinters when I tried to foolishly teach myself to fly without the proper skills. Now that I belong to a fantastic club and have a great instructor, I can experience the trill of flight. When this Kadet Senior touches down so smooth and gentle, it looks "and" feels magnificent! I just bought a wing kit, so I'm currently building another wing with strip ailerons no dihedral.
