Hello cen,
I have a couple of questions for you. I have a genesis 3rd generation that I have been running for about a month. First question, my pull start kept slipping so I took off the back plate on the engine and found that the small pin with spring was recesed in the crank shaft not allowing the pull start to catch in the groove. Is this covered by waranty and how should I go about taking care of this problem? Second question, There are screws that hold on the spur gears and one of them came loose causing my pinion gears to totally strip. Where do I get these screws?
Thanks for your help

Hey Jay -
Your best fix is to ditch the pull start all together and put a Rotozip on it....Pull starts never last on anything - especially a big motor like this....it is well worth the investment.
You can buy an entire titanium screw set for your Gen for about 25 bucks at any hobby store or ebay!

Dear Arizona Jay:
Sorry about the late reponse. Go ahead and give us a call at 714-792-1923 and we will take care of you from there. Sometimes the spur gears strips out due to motor/gears movement especially during jumps . In either case, we can send you a pull start under warranty and the pinion gears you broke. Please make sure you put on enough threadlock when you install them
If you wish to switch to roto-tech starter, the part number you will need is G70358 which include the roto-tech unit, backplate for NX76 and all hardwares. Please visit your LHS to order your.
