are you priming it by putting your finger over the exhaust opening and turning the engine over a few times until you see the fuel reaching the carb? Other than that, try looking for an air leak.

Check to see if the fitting on the pipe is plugged. Some have had probs. I pull the line off the pipe and give it a little puff to prime .. works good every time.

Plev,

Check the nipple out of the exhaust if its blocked.

Its seem that the problem is there.

plev:

It might be the exhaust pipe. Check if the exhaust pressure nipple is filled with Red locktile. If it is, clean up the extra glue in that area and everything should be good. If still have no luck, contact our tech. at anytime and we will find out the problem for you. Thank you for choosing CEN Racing.

thanks for reply

have checked exhaust it clear??I m at a loss at the momment .
I can get it started (just)the problem seems to be fuel (i think) when you put the rota start on the fuel won,t move down the pipe unless you block the exhast but as soon as you move your finger the fuel back flows towards the tank.
i had it running on sunday last week but after 10 mins it stoped running and trying to get it started again killed 2 rota starts and a 12v cordless drill all fully charged. What am i doing wrong please help

regards plev

Plev What's up man this will be the beginning of many problems for you. check to see if there are any plastic shavings in the gas tank from the factory blocking the fuel line. if that is clear reset the carb to factory setting and try to blow into the exhaust line watching the fuel go into the engine it should go pretty easy if you turn red trying to blow through the line your carb is clogged take it apart and clean it out! hope this helps you out and good luck!!!!

The back flow thing might indicate a hole in the tubing or air leak at the carb.I had that happen and it was a small crack in the tubing at the nipple of the carb.Just something else to look for.
