Default Matrix Setup

I think this would be a good place to discuss setups on your buggy!

I was at the track all weekend and last night. This buggy handles great in the air and on the track, but I do have some problems with rear end and it does not swallow the bumps very well
This is what happens when I give throttle in a turn or at the straight, the rear want's to come out and if It does that in a corner the car just do a 180. Does anybody have any suggestion for this or should I just go easy on the throttle ?!?! I know I have to adjust the shocks so it swallows the bumps better, but does anybody have a good setup for the shocks at the front. My rear shocks are good maybe a little to much pack!

My setup are.

Stock chassis
-2 chamber all around
stock toe in back and front
Anti-squat stock
250 cps oil in the rear shocks with piston #2 1.75 mm
600 CPS oil in the front shocks with piston #2 1.75 mm
Stock springs all around
Middle hole on the shock towers
inner hole at the front
outer hole at the rear
middle hole on the ackermann
Caster block 22
Tires jolly from GRP
5-5-1 F-C-R

So post your setups

Thanks

Front shocks #2 piston 45 Wt Losi oil. middle upper hole on the tower inner on the arms. Stock Springs.
-1.5 deg camber, middle ackerman hole, upper holes inside and out on camber links.

Rear Shocks #3 Piston 30 Wt Cen oil. middle upper hole on the tower inner on the arms. Stock Springs.
-1.5 deg camber, T3-S3 rear plate (also stock). upper inside hole on hubs one down inside hole on tower for camber links.

Diffs 5-5-5..

Can also try T2-S3 Toe plate. I use both.

This setup was used on the long and short chassis Pro cars, and should work good on the RTR as well..

Thanks for the setup Losmosis!

Questions for you Losmosis
Is the stock plastic rear suspension plate 3 toe in 3 anti squat? I thought it was 3 toe in and 2 anti squat?
You are using piston 3# for the rear shocks but what's the diameter on the hole? I didn't receive any 3# piston with my arr only 1 and 2, so I need to buy new pistons or just drill the old ones.

My arr is almost a PRO ( I think ), I don't have the pro chassis, the chassis braces and the radio tray in CF. I'm in the process to convert my arr to a pro.
Do you think I should buy the L or S chassis?

I will try some new setups when I get parts for my buggy (blow the front diff).

Thanks

Default RE: Matrix Setup

Hi
I tried a new setup today at the track, man this setups rock!!!!!! The matrix really is a nice buggy, very easy to drive on the track or to control it in the air.
I now have this setup
3-3-3 In the diffs
600 cps in the front shocks with piston 2.
2 degrees toe out at the front
All the other things are the same as before.

Maybe I have to go to another oil or piston at the rear, it's bumby in some sections on the track.

This will be my setups for the race next weekend, I will do some more practice this week (with this seup) and hope for a good resuat in the race
