My 17T pinion Gear was too tight out of the box. I just didn't bother to adjust it because everyone was telling me it was the way the truck was suppose to be and it stripped out. I knew that was coming. Now i'm having trouble removing these gears off the Clutch Bell. Please help.

I don't know if CEN sent me the Gear alone or the whole Clutch Bell with the Gears already on it. I heard someone got the whole clutch assembly from CEN. But i don't know what Ken sent me. Everyone's saying i'm better off just getting the whole clutch with the gears already on it. But i can't afford it. This truck's only 2 days old.

If I were you, I would phone CEN direct and ask them about your problem. Two days old and you have stripped your gears! That sucks. I am sure CEN will help you out though, they have a great customer service in the States.

I did. Thanks. 2 days ago i got Ken at Cen Racing and he said he was gonna send me the Gear, or the whole Clutch Assembly. I'm not sure which one he sent. If he sent just the gear, then i'm screwed to the wall because that gear will NOT come off. lol

Put the clutch bell in the oven at around 500 degrees for a couple of minutes or on the stove top burner to heat it up really well. You could also use some form of torch to heat it up as well. Keep in mind that it will be incredibly hot and you will need to hold it with pliers while you take it off.
