I have a feeling that I cross threaded the Head button from constantly taking the plug out because I kept flooding it during break in.

Dont worry about it, things are going to happen..its all part of the hobby. This hobby is a big learning curve. Experience is the best teacher and you will soon be able to do everything to your truck like it is second nature. Aluminum parts are good for getting cross threaded and stripped. We have all been there!

Well it's my understanding that the button is made out of Aluminum which is a softer metal then the glow plug which is made out of steel, which makes it really easy to strip out. I'm always super careful when installing or removing my glow plugs to make sure I don't cross-thread the button or over-tighten it.. It just needs to be snug, not tight. Also it's a good idea before you install a glow plug, line it up with the hole, and turn it counter-clockwise like you're taking it out until you feel the thread click sorta, then it should be lined up..

that's what I do...go back some untill it feels even

WD-40 on the button before you remove the plug helps too (thanks again for the tip TRD) it'll clean away the dirt and stuff so it doesn't fall into the top of the motor.

I didn't notice a arrow on my primer pump, blow into it, the air will only travel in one direction, you want the path that the air flows going to the fuel tank.

I'm going to have to drill a hole in the rolebar...good thing i'm not going to running the truck soon...I'm feeling to lazy to drill a hole tonight
can I take the stone out...don't see why I would need it and the thing is heavy enough

Yeah, I was going to put that on the roll bar, but there is a hole near the bottom of the handle that I might use, if not then I'll drill one.

I got unlazy and did it...well...I was kinda lazy and didn't take off my rollbar...cheated with a paper towel and some clear tape
edit
I riped the paper towel about 5" and taped it to the bar with little pieces...then I put tape sticky side out on my finger and cleared a path to tear the towel off without getting shavings everywhere...should of used plastic though...broke a drill bit because I couldn't use oil...thought it was a titanim<--(close enough
) but then that shouldn't of happend...

Very nice, yeah I'm being lazy myself, I have mine mounted on the other side on one of the screws holding the transmission to the chassis, only problem is it's lower then the fuel tank and there's a chance fuel could drain into that direction, so far so good though. At some point I'll take off my laziness hat and drill the rollbar.
Oh btw, I left the stone filter in mine, I figure the more filtering the better.

I left the stone in, never know when some freak thing might happen and get dirt or something jamed into the port and sucked in the line some how...I've got crappy luck so I'm sticking with safe

Yeah it does not hurt anything to have the stone filter in. I was also thinking the stone filter is also part of the problem and been meaning to order a second tank to test the flow without the filter to see what difference it makes. that stone filter seems very restrictive to me..

that's what I was thinking...and I want this beast as light as I can...maybe I'll take the stone out and pull the hose off the tank and give it a blow test....i'll be right back
edit
there is a few psi dif with the stone out...I just used my lungs so I can't give any numbers...but wouldn't that ad more presure to the tank and make you lean it out more?

I would think it would be so minimal you might not see a difference, but a quick test might be to run it with the stone, go through about half a tank get it nice and hot, pull the stone out and check the temps, do a few runs, check the temps again, any change would mean better/worse fuel pressure?
I'm curious to see if it actually makes a difference, maybe I'll take mine out after all..

I'm thinking it's going to get better pressure from my cheap test. I still haven't ran my truck since I put the filter on so I'm not even sure how much leaner to run her. Right now I'm just below flush, maybe 1/8 turn in or less...never checked to see how much it moves from any kind of turn. It's nice to know that I can finally run a full tank, once I dial her in....again
