(From RCG) Quote: "Seeing Tom Moore after 20 years - Tom is a member at the club and a good friend of Roberts. Tom instantly recognized me and said, "I have a picture of you in my photo album." Tom and I competed against each other for the +/- four years that I flew pattern and it was a joy to see him. He is 71 years yound and lives a more active life than I do. Wow...." Fatherof4
Chunk #1: On a personal note, Tom Moore is my beloved friend and Brother. Seeing the his and Doug's joy alone made the whole deal worthwhile. Many awesome memories were shared. Thanks to you guys that dusted off the photo albums of the "old days".

Chunk #3: H-9 Phoenix 7.
Gentlemen, this one is a WINNER. We as a group owe a great deal of gratitude to H-9 for producing this outstanding aircraft. It's impeccable flight characteristics and durability (oops) were on display. Watching Tony F put it through it's paces was a priceless privilege. If you are considering one of these, you will not regret it. I cannot wait to get mine in the air.

The winner of the most distance traveled award: EDH from Arizona, with is awesome Tipo, .40 Kaos, and the micro Kaos. Thank you Eric for the honor of twiddling the sticks on the Tipo! I can see why it is such a popular design.

Here are a few pics from the Camarillo SoCal Classic Get-Together. Eric and I had Tipos, Eric flew his and mine was still to have it's re-first flight. Another of our fine host Robert and his hot Vertigo II.

I had so much fun last Saturday! It was a pleasure to meet everyone, do some flying and some BS'ing. A big thanks to the Camarillo club for having us, and to Robert and everyone else who helped to put it on.
I'm looking forward to out meet on October 1st and 2nd where we can actually see how some of you can fly the patterns! I think we will have the CPA/BPA Sportsman, Advanced and Masters. I hope we can get even more out!
Thanks again!

Tony,
Count me in! I will fly both old and new style. Why not? Thank you for putting Classic Pattern forward. Let's hope that it goes off with a bang, and other clubs follow suit with their contests.

Robert Bonillas brought his AWESOME and immaculate Kwik Fli. It is a beauty! Methodical excellence in both the execution as well as operation. This is the very essence of what drew me to pattern as a young lad. Thank you Robert for bringing this aircraft.
