I use 3/4'' cloth on mylar to cover my wings so I don't have any weave to fill.

I apply the glass to a sheet of Mylar and then vacuum the whole assembly together. It's a method I use to limit the amount of epoxy soaked up by the contest balsa.
Another method that the FIA guys use, that doesn't require a lot of equipment, is to spray the wing sheeting with hair spray and let dry before adding glass and resin.

Gary is and is going to make an exceptional builder (don’t tell him that). He really respects your builds too. LOL, I always here, 'Blake's plane is...'. I’ll gladly help anyone wanting to learn more about building and what’s available.
I know he started the SPA venture for the same reason as I did...scale building and flying. It's difficult to point a large scale warbird to the ground and not feel an overload of anxiety about hitting the ground and wasting a lot of money especially when you’ve got a Moki radial strapped to it. So practicing unusual attitudes and recover with SPA really helps.
