Could anyone tell me more about this pattern plane?

I believe it was designed by Yukio Kono of Japan,

Well it does say "Kohno" on it but I am trying to possibly find a plan for it.

You're welcome. Just trying to tell you "more" about it as you asked. At least you have a first name now for the designer and know for certain the name of the designer and that it wasn't just some guy named "Kohno" with his name on the wing. Maybe you should just have said upfront looking for a plan. Good luck.

It might help if somebody can translate the Japanese writing at the bottom of the picture?

But seriously, even if somebody comes up with an "interpretation" of that design from the picture, it would still be stunning.

Looks similar to a Novi Arrow and a Don Juan III.
Elliptical wings are beautiful but quite a challenge to build I would imagine.
