Putting together Classic Pattern Plane list
#51

How about having the Trenton site also post the "Classic Pattern-Trader"? It seems to me it would be a good fit...classic airplane stuff and a newsletter dedicated to learning about, sourcing and price discovery as well as the engine, set-up and trimming, construction, installation and finishing articles...the newsletter may have visitors return a few more times...seeing that "Ok to contribute sign"...
I like the idea and would be honored for the consideration. The first issue is waiting for the first collection of items to arrive to make it special. Categories may include:
"Classic Collector" rare, complete esoteric items, which may have MK, Bridi, Hanno stuff,
"Classic Consumer" toys to be enjoyed not saved...mostly kits
"Classic Values" consisting of below market price discoveries
"Classic Bling" engine mounts, spinners, Kraft wheels, retracts
"Classic Power" yep, engines, mufflers, headers and pipes
"Classic Prints" ...unauthorized copies of prints, full size on paper, not a value but convenient.
"The Holy Grail" A completely unauthorized copy of the "RCM Anthology Flight Training II"
"Classic Connections" Deep, very complete private colletions of NIB Rossi, YS engines and parts
"Classic Capitalism" yes, commercial enterprises offering extra special service for those classically minded
All the above for absolutely FREE! Based on the simple notion "If you help enough people get what they want, you can have anything that you want." Zig Ziglar

Do you recognize this plane ( the yellow one)? I was told it was a Royal ''The Cherry''. We are trying to get the correct name ( if not ''The Cherry'') so we can try to locate one.
Also, the blue and yellow The Nobler. Probably by Royal as well.
Thanks Patsy

1) Calypso from Modeltech was designed by Hanno Prettner.
2) Corsair by Isao Matsui has a Mark 3. I saw him fly it in 1970. Kitted by his own company IM Model.
3) The Marabu was designed and flown by Bruno Giesandanner not "Bruce". It was kitted by a Japanese company in 1971 or 1972. I believe the company was MK but not sure.
4) Please add the Flash series by T Yoshioka. Flash, Flash RS etc.
5) FK (Funkey Aircraft) had a knock off of Hanno Prettner's Magic. I still have it in my attic.
6) FK Speeda is a knock off of the M Kato Blue Angel.
7) The Senior Falcon by Carl Goldberg was listed twice on the list. Once under "F" and once under "S".
8) FK SBA is the same plane as the Speeda. Not a knock off of the Intruder but a knock off of the Blue Angel.
